Sunday Night Blues (Poem)

When the sun rays loudly announce 'We have arrived',

I am still shaking the sleep from my scalp,
Tightening my fist around the vivid dream that longs to escape me.

I am everything and nothing, split between two worlds, an error message on a celestial screen.

Not ready for the fairies sprinkling dust on this fresh day. This dust is a violent allergen. I always sneeze when it tickles my nose.

-D.
